Some photography pictures.
These are some pictures from a photography assignment. One was supposed to be the person moving and the background still and the other was supposed to be the background moving and the person being still but it didn't quite work out. :) Next we have to cut two of them into strips and make this thing thats hard to explain but in a few days i'll post a picture of the finished product.
They were taken behind our school. I'm on the right in the first one. I was going to cover the other person's faces but you cant really see them that well. I don't have a scanner so I had to take a picture of them.
Nihongo Renshuu
My hiragana practice, and a little katakana too.
And these are my kanji flashcards, I don't have that many yet.

Earth Hour is over
Earth hour was fun. But we actually started it at 7:30pm, not really on purpose, and stopped a while after 9:30pm. My kame's were in the dark too...but their light is normally off by then. My parents did it too. :) My sisters and I played a game of monopoly and made cookies a little before that too. We didn't finish the game though. It always turns out to be a long game. I should time it sometime.
For light we used candles but they were small tealight candles so I lit a ton of them. And I put some of them in glass jars I had decorated. I wonder who else turned off their lights tonight. For people in places like California haven't had theirs yet.
My nephew
My kawaii nephew. He's three months and eights days old. Some are blurry because babies don't stay still.
Earth Hour
"YOUR LIGHT SWITCH IS YOUR VOTE
This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, between Earth and global warming.
For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.
This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard.Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights.
Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness. In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from.
VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community. A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009, and this number is growing everyday. We all have a vote, and every single vote counts. Together we can take control of the future of our planet, for future generations.VOTE EARTH by simply switching off your lights for one hour, and join the world for Earth Hour."
I'm reading more about it, and I plan on doing it. :) But, from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, it's going to be dark...so I wonder what to use. You can use candles and flashlights and cell phone glow. Even if not everyone in my family participates i'm still doing it. I think i'll have a candle for my room maybe, can you watch tv? My parents are planning on watching a movie..but no lights. :)
I blog later saying what I did.

Test... :(
Right now i'm trying to finish a take home make-up test for AP Economics. I'm on question 13 out of 50. Woo :)
At the same time i'm trying to finish something for my friend's birthday and making kanji flashcards to study. I got a cool binder to keep them in. I'll have a pic later.
Here is the present I made from paper clay. The "S" for her name is the back. And the hearts on them say "For You"

Meet my turtles.
They got their tank cleaned so they are happy. It's hard to get clear pictures because they move so much, even when you ask them to stay still.
They got some new medicine so hopefully they will be healthier soon. They aren't really sick but their cage being dirty isn't good and something is weird with their mouths.
