How plastic is harming our Earth.

In case you haven't heard of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, i'm writing a blog about it with some links.

Bascially what it is, is a massive area of garbage stretching all the way from the coast of California to Japan, think of the 14 hour flight it takes to get from those two places.

"Years of bottles, bags, toys, packaging and plastic trash from all corners of the Earth are swirling in a plastic whirlpool in the North Pacific. "

This is ruining our oceans and destroying the habitats of all sea animals. But it's hurting people too. These unhealthy conditions are being passed on to people who eat fish and sea food and even people who don't are going to expierence bad effects from this.

Plastic lasts for atleast 500 years or longer, so it's not going anywhere. This is going to be causing problems for people generations and generations after we are long gone. We should all try to do our best in keeping the Earth nice so we can have a nice place to live and the same for everyone after us.

I've just been learning about this so i'm not an expert.

Eco Friendly Products:

Reusable aluminum water bottles. Plastic bottles leech harmful chemicals into your water but these won't.

What i'm thinking about now is how to bring my schools attention to the amount of plastic kids throw away. We have about 2,500 students at my school. Hundreds and hundreds of soda and water bottle are purchased and tossed in the trash everyday and a ton more plastic is thrown out from the cafeteria. We need to have recycling bins in every class room and large one in the hallways just like we have trash cans.

I know that would be a lot of money to start a program like that and even harder with the additional 35 billion dollar budget cuts for next year but it's one of those things that is, pay now or pay later.

New socks ~fuu~

And this....I tried to make this one caramel baked custard, which was preety much flan, and this one is hello kitty.....mostly. :)

Andddd.....i've been watching Ai Yori Aoishi. It's really really goood. But the Manager is a little annoying, I want Aoi and Kaouru (sp) to get married and have a baby buuuuttttt they have to hide their relationship. And the character Tina.......greets people by grapping their boobs. lol. She's really funny.

I've given up on trying to like One Piece. I guess I just like more girly anime, or atleast ones centered around a girl. My most favorite issss Shugo Chara, of course.

I'm wondering if all digital cameras only record up to three minutes at a time.....because it's a litle inconveinent to always have to do 2 clips then put them together. I knew only about the first minute of this song but this morning I learned the rest of it. Getting a good second clip took me way too long. And there were too many interuptions lol, first the dog being loud and coming in the video, then the AT&T people, but they fixed my home phone :) :).

I thought I had lost the videos.....it took me a long time to find them again and I thought I was going to have to do it all over again. But I got lucky annndddd..... my contacts came today!! :) Now I can stop using my old ones and no more broken taped glasses...for a little bit. :)

Charcoal Face Mask

This is the third thing I got from Jbox. I saw it other places and I reallllly realllllly wanted it.

It was actually alot of fun to put on. :) :)

Finally I got my stuff from Jbox. :) :) :) :)

First is the Neri Ame candy toy. You're supposed to put the candy on the chopsticks then kned it until it's fluffier or a different testure...I foget. And I think I did it mostly right lol. But it was starting to get really messy so I stopped kneading it.

Next.......is this!!!!! Sushi candy making kit.

This is the template you roll the nori out on.

Then this is how you make the fish eggs. First you mix the red stuff then put it in the dropper then....drop it into the gelatin stuff so it solidifies. And when thats done you can move it into the water to make room for more.
